In 2020, we will host the 8th annual 5280 Challenge! In addition to our traditional track and field meet, we also will host an archery competition!

We are excited that again the 5280 Challenge Track & Field Meet will serve as the USATF - Colorado Association Outdoor Championship meet for the following athletes:
Masters Outdoor Championship
Para Athletics Outdoor Championship
Race Walk 5k Championship
Our track and field meet is geared towards Masters athletes (athletes 30 years and older), Paralympic athletes (athletes with a physical disability), and athletes who are Veterans.
Other athletes are welcome to compete in this track and field meet if they are members of USATF or Adaptive Sports USA.

Our Archery competition is open to archers of any age, with emphasis on Paralympic athletes (athletes with a physical disability) and athletes who are Veterans.

5280 Challenge, the 5280 Challenge Track & Field Meet, and 5280 Challenge Archery Tournament all operate as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.

A final decision has not been made yet on the status of the 5280 Challenge scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2020.
Plans are to meet by the end of March 2020 with representatives from the Colorado Masters Track & Field Club, USATF, Adaptive Sports USA, and Cherry Creek Schools to get their input on holding the 5280 Challenge as scheduled or when it can be rescheduled.
